At the gynaecology the whole spectrum of gynaecology will be offered, among this minimal invasive operations methods (per abdominoscopy and hysteroscopy) and abdominohysterectomy ( preferential without a abdominal incision through the vagina).

A particular specialisation is in the field of:

• Falling of the vagina and womb
• Irritable bladder (urinary incontinence)
• Cancer therapy (Breast, ovaries, womb, vagina)
  

All types of cancer of the gynaecology will be treated in our clinic in high numbers and with high competence. In connection with the tumour centre Rendsburg happens a intensive cooperation with all required departments for the cancer therapy. The intention is also here a medical science which is customize to the requirements of the patients, as e.g. breast-preserving cancer surgery and the offer of an ambulant chemotherapy at the day-oncological area.

To offer a higher quantity of competence the gynaecological hospital Rendsburg founded together with the gynaecological hospitals of the West Coast Clinic Heide, the clinic Itzehoe and the Friedrich-Ebert-Clinic Neumünster the Holstein Breast Centre.

This Breast Centre has been certified  since the year 2005 by the German Cancer Association and the German Society for Senology as well as according to DIN 9001. With that all  services and therapy-decisions will be revealed and optimised in a yearly resisted test. In this frame the Breast Centre works with the latest scientific application according to the S3-guidelines. With that could be made improvements as like intensive interdisciplinary co operations, periodical interdisciplinary tumour-boards and the organization of skill enhancement symposium.
